As a playwright, Sid has penned various stage productions in both Chicago and Los Angeles. Sid also wrote and performed his one man show Brother’s Tellin’ which opened for Lily Tomlin’s show, The Search for Signs of Intelligent Life in the Universe in Los Angeles. After several runs
of his one-man show, Sid was selected to participate in the Mark Taper Forum Blacksmyth’sDevelopment Playwright program with advisor August Wilson. His work at the Mark TaperForum was noticed by Alabama Shakespeare Festival and was developed rigorously for option.
