Meemee is an LA-Based screenwriter of horror and thrillers. She is currently a fellow in Sony’s transatlantic writers’ initiative program, Creative Corridor, and, in 2022, was the winner of both the Roadmap Career Writers Program’s Diversity Initiative (July) as well as of a grant from the Horror Writers Association. She was also a Finalist in the 2023 The Black List/WIF Episodic Lab, the 2022 Paramount (CBS) Writers Mentoring Program, and the 2022 Women Write Now Program that is associated with Kevin Hart’s production company, HartBeat. In addition to screenwriting, she has published short stories and a children’s book, run marathons around the world (including Tokyo, London, and Berlin), and loves doing genealogy research. Her goal in life is to make her ancestors proud.
