Kiera Bratton-Lewis

Kiera Bratton-Lewis is a writer and producer based in Los Angeles. Kiera’s work is influenced by her experiences living and working in the Middle East, Latin America, Africa and Europe. She is a researcher of international folklore, subcultures, and afro-feminism. She recently produced the short film SEE THROUGH (2019 Festival de Cannes Court Metrage, 2021 Austin Film Festival and 2021 New York Short Film Festival) which stars first Deaf MCU superhero, Lauren Ridloff (ETERNALS). She began her career at the United Nations in Geneva, Switzerland and moved into film and tv with her feature documentary DATES FOR COFFEE ( 2017 IFP Made in NY Filmmaker Fellowship). Kiera’s worked with luminary filmmakers on projects including CAROL; HAIL, CAESAR!; INDIGNATION; SERVANT; BLACK MONDAY; EVIL and for VICELAND among others. Kiera is currently helping screenwriter Bobby Bowman on a studio feature. Kiera graduated magna cum laude with B.As in Philosophy and Politics from Ithaca College and M.F.A. in Screenwriting from AFI Conservatory.
