I was born and raised in Washington, D.C., studied Political Science at Howard University. I took a class in playwriting taught by Joseph A. Walker (The River Niger) which change my trajectory to drama. I have been in workshops taught by Bobby Crawford (A Rage in Harlem), workshops in screenwriting and directing given by the America Film Institute. It was thought the AFI that I leaned about OBS and became a member. A member of AFI and The Kennedy Center.
