Bri Morris

Busting through the great corn city of Indianapolis, Bri knew early that she wanted to be a comedy writer. Filled with the need to tell stories with absurd and dark humor Bri took weekly trips a la Greyhound to train at The Second City and iO Chicago for writing and improvisation. Bri was a Women in Animation Mentee, a semifinalist in Mike Guayo’s Black Boy Black Girl Writes Mentorship program, and a fellow in the Roadmap Writers and UK Independent Film Trust’s Creative Corridor program. Bri is currently shopping her pilot, I DON’T WANT TO HATE ME, with Gratitude Productions. Bri’s stories capture the underdog’s need to prevail with underlying themes of escapism and dysfunctional family relationships.
