A Springfield, Massachusetts native and Howard University Alum, I’ve lived in D.C., Orlando, Lusaka, New York, and Paris before settling in Los Angeles. I’ve been an entrepreneur, crisis communications professional, political operative, and an OBS member long enough to be a little embarrassed by it. My career highlights include being the strategic lead or a campaign manager on several historic political campaigns as well as being one of only a handful of African-Americans to lead a statewide media campaign. After writing and directing dozens of radio and television commercials with seven-figure budgets, I joined Film-Noir Productions once lead by the late Anita Addison (the first woman of color with greenlight authority at a major network) where I worked in development. I joined the OBS board in 2008 and became Board Chair in 2015.
