Jeremy Lloyd-Styles began his journey in the desert city of Riverside, CA, a black kid living among neo-nazis, meth factories, smog, orange groves, the largest auto dealerships in the country, and a chair that President Taft sat in once. He has played nationally and internationally with the band Pearl and the Beard and has shared the stage with acts like The Lumineers, Sharon Van Etten, Iron and Wine, Neko Case, Bastille, and Ani Difranco. His music is featured in the films Unicorn City, Hello, My Name is Doris, the TV series Lucifer and The Royals. He has currently been commissioned to write his first musical. Since writing, he has had a script placed on Coverfly’s Red List and as Runner-Up in Roadmap Writer’s Diversity Initiative and most recently their Writers on the Map Initiative.
