Presents An Actors Panel Discussion
On Saturday, June 6, 2009 we hosted our first Actors
Panel with Malcolm-Jamal Warner, Denise Yvonne Dowse, Richard
Lawson, and Karen Malina White moderated by Tosha Whitten-Griggs.
This was one of the most inspirational, informative, and
knowledgeable panels – this was the word buzzing all around the
room after the meeting. The panelists were so forthcoming with
information and very candid with their responses. The information
provided will serve to assist writers in development better
projects, more honest projects, the type of projects that will
bring forth characters with substances and layers.
We’ve provided
a few clips here just to give you an idea of what those that were
in attendance received and what you can’t afford to miss by not
attending an OBS meeting.
We’d like to
thank all the panelists for taking out the time in their personal
schedules to share with us on Saturday. Everyone was more than
generous with their time. Most of the panel hung around long
after the meeting to speak to members and guests individually,
take pictures, and network.
