"Night at the Movies" - Short Film Showcase continues for 2009! 

 This showcase features very talented writers/directors/filmmakers in the Los Angeles area.  Many of these writers/directors/filmmakers are OBS members that have taken their scripts to the next level.  
 
For this March showcase we have some special treats.  We're featuring a short film inspired by our President and one from Academy Award Nominated Writer, Laurence Andries; who happens to be on our Board of Directors!     
 
 We invite you to share the vision of these writers/directors/filmmakers, to support, and encourage them as you view their message through their eyes behind the camera.   

We also reduced the admission to $7!

Kangaroo Court"Kangaroo Court" - In the aftermath of the 1993 riots, a white police officer (Michael O'Keffe) is kidnapped in South Central by a Crip set and forced into a mock trial for his racism.  A former gang leader, turned city attorney (Gregory Hines) is kidnapped to serve as the cop's legal counsel - all elements of a cruel game before the cop's inevitable execution.
